Nelson Calero

Nelson Calero is an experienced database consultant and technical leader with a robust background in Oracle and PostgreSQL technologies. Currently serving as an Internal Principal Consultant at Pythian since June 2014, Nelson handles complex database issues and engages directly with clients on various projects. Previous roles include leadership positions in Oracle teams and extensive consulting work across multiple organizations. Nelson co-founded the Uruguayan Oracle Users Group and has a history of teaching Oracle courses at Oracle University. Nelson’s career also includes significant contributions to public sector database administration and consulting, supported by a degree in Information Technology from Universidad de la República.
