Martin Sands

Martin Sands currently serves as the Head of Financial Control & Compliance at PZ Cussons, overseeing the Global Financial Control function. Previously, Martin held several senior roles at Generali, including Global Head of Quality & Continuous Improvement in Group Audit and Head of OMTS in Group Audit, focusing on quality assurance and innovative practices. Earlier experience includes leadership positions at RSA, where responsibilities included managing the internal audit plan and specializing in Commercial Underwriting and Risk. Martin began their career as an Audit Manager at Swiss Life, managing the audit program for a life insurance company. Martin holds a BS in Maritime Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.
