Marie-Pierre Lissoir is an experienced Exhibition and Multimedia Interpretive Specialist at the National Museum of Qatar, currently contributing since August 2021. Prior to this role, Marie-Pierre served as a Researcher and Curator at the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre from April 2016 to April 2021, where significant accomplishments included curating the exhibition “Voices of the Wind, Traditional Instruments in Laos” and managing a music-related collection. Marie-Pierre holds dual Ph.D. degrees in Political and Social Sciences from Université libre de Bruxelles and in Sciences of Language from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, along with two Master's degrees in Anthropology and Musicology and History of Art from Université libre de Bruxelles. Additionally, Marie-Pierre's expertise extends to writing and publishing peer-reviewed essays, delivering educational lectures, and conducting guided tours in both French and English.
