Selina Farooqui

Selina Farooqui is a seasoned fashion and design professional with extensive experience in various capacities within the industry. Currently serving as a Design Coordinator for the Qatar Olympic Committee since April 2016, Selina also owns and directs Selina Farooqui Fashion, which encompasses designing bi-annual collections and managing all aspects of production and brand promotion. Prior experience includes a notable role as a Designer in the Couture Department at Qatar Luxury Group, where collaboration with the Creative Director on seasonal collections was key, and freelance positions such as Brand Image Consultant for Skyhall Trading Company and Uniform Designer for W Doha Hotel & Residences, awarded Best Fashion Designer in 2011. Selina holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts.
