Lotfi Belkhir

Lotfi Belkhir is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in innovative technologies and eco-entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Entrepreneurial Transformation at Qatar University since January 2022, Lotfi also holds the position of Associate Professor and Chair of Eco-Entrepreneurship at McMaster University since January 2012, focusing on research, teaching, and coaching aspiring entrepreneurs to promote sustainable societal development. Prior roles include President of Digital Content Innovation, where expertise was provided on transitioning to digital content, and CEO & Founder of Kirtas Inc., which introduced groundbreaking technology in automatic book scanning and achieved significant financial success. Lotfi's foundational career includes positions at PARC, a Xerox Company, and Xerox, contributing to research and development in various leadership capacities. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physics from Stony Brook University and a Master's in Management of Technology from Walden University, among other degrees.
