Shahab Uddin Khan

Shahab Uddin Khan is a seasoned researcher in the field of cancer biology, currently serving as Principal Research Scientist and Head of the Molecular Pathophysiology core at Hamad Medical Corporation since January 2015, while also holding a position as Professor of Cancer Biology at Qatar University. With extensive experience in cancer research, Shahab has contributed significantly to understanding dysregulated signaling molecules involved in tumor survival and proliferation, focusing on their potential as targeted therapy markers. Prior roles include Senior Scientist and Deputy Director at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, Associate Professor at the University of Chicago, and Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University and postdoctoral training at esteemed institutions such as Loyola University and The Ohio State University.
