Katja Hueck

Katja de Gruyter is an experienced Energy and Climate Consultant at Brightspot Climate since July 2020, specializing in environmental assessments and policy development. Prior to this role, Katja worked as an EHS Regulatory Analyst at Nimonik and as an Environmental Specialist at D&G Envrio-Group, conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with CSA standards. A Climate Change Mitigation Intern at the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, Katja contributed to research on integrating climate change considerations into environmental regulations. Katja holds a Master's degree in Environment with a focus on Environmental Assessment and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Specialization, both from Concordia University. Additionally, Katja has a background in web development from previous roles at TD and Aquent.
