Alastair Collett

Alastair Collett currently serves as the MRI National Modality Lead and MRI Team Leader at Qscan Group since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as MRI Radiographer at Queensland Health from December 2019 to June 2021, Operations Manager at Queensland Radiology Specialists, and MRI Team Leader at DDHHS. Alastair has extensive experience in MRI technology, having overseen significant installations such as the first operational Toshiba Titan 3-Tesla MRI in the Southern hemisphere and the setup of various MRI protocols. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and a Postgraduate Diploma in Magnetic Resonance Technology from The University of Queensland, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging from Queensland University of Technology. Alastair's background reflects a solid foundation in both practical and academic aspects of medical imaging.
