Timo Aarnipuro

Timo Aarnipuro is a Senior Software Engineer at The Qt Company since May 2017, specializing in platform support for Qt Quick Ultralite and previously focusing on real-time operating systems in the automotive sector. Prior to this, Timo was a Technical Lead at Nokia Networks, contributing to basestation platform software development, and also held positions as a Senior Software Designer at Ixonos, emphasizing Linux specialization and mobile platforms, and as a Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, where C++ coding and distributed software research were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes roles as an Associate Engineer at Powerwave Technologies and as a Research Assistant at Oulun yliopisto. Timo holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oulu, completed in 2010.
