Sumeet Tiwari

Sumeet Tiwari is a highly skilled bioinformatician currently employed at Quadram Institute since July 2021. Prior to this role, Sumeet Tiwari was a doctoral student at the Robert Koch Institute from June 2017 to June 2021, where a bacterial genome-wide association study was implemented involving approximately 1200 E. coli strains from various hosts across five countries. Earlier experience includes serving as a junior research fellow at the University of Hyderabad from August 2015 to May 2017, focusing on host-pathogen protein-protein interaction networks and bacterial NGS data analysis for comparative genomics studies. Additionally, Sumeet Tiwari completed an industrial training program at shodhaka life sciences from November 2012 to April 2013, curating data from protein-protein interaction databases. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Natural Sciences degree in Biology (Bioinformatics) from Freie Universität Berlin, as well as a Master of Technology in Bioinformatics from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from JNTUA College of Engineering, Pulivendula.
