Rafael Chaparro

Rafael Chaparro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and technical advisory roles within the electrical engineering and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Principal Advisor at Quanta Technology, LLC since June 2016, Rafael specializes in substation communications and automation, focusing on IEC 61850 relaying, metering, and synchrophasor applications for transmission and distribution. Previous roles include VP of International Sales at Encore Networks, where Rafael drove sales of secure, IP+Legacy VPN routers, and Director of International Sales at ERL Phase Power Technologies, focusing on protection relaying solutions for power utilities.
