Derek Metzger

Derek Metzger is the Vice President of Finance and Strategy at Quanta Therapeutics since December 2021, bringing extensive experience in strategic roles within the biotechnology sector. Prior to this, Derek held various positions at Tempest Therapeutics, including Executive Director of Strategy and Senior Director of Program Leadership, and was previously with Aduro Biotech, where responsibilities included portfolio planning and commercial strategy. Derek's career began at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, where roles spanned from Associate Director of Marketing to Senior Oncology Specialist, focusing on market analytics and business operations. Derek earned a BA in Economics from Brown University in 2007.
