Jonathan Snider

Jonathan Snider is an accomplished chemical engineer currently serving as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape, focusing on solid-state Li-ion battery electrolyte development. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Appointee role at Sandia National Laboratories, where expertise was applied to the synthesis and characterization of high-performance hydrogen storage materials, and work at Stanford University as a Graduate Research Fellow, where research concentrated on nanoparticulate catalysts and chemical reactor safety. Jonathan also contributed to the field while interning at Albemarle Corporation and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, leading to significant advancements in energy storage technologies. Jonathan holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, alongside a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
