Sophia Gut

Sophia Gut is an Associate Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape, specializing in solid-state lithium-metal battery electrolyte research and development since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Bosch, focusing on the development of MEMS sensors, and at SNC-Lavalin as an Engineering Co-op Student, where project management and technical documentation were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes serving as a Jump Start Orientation Leader at the University of British Columbia, a server at Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt, and a ski instructor at Mohan Skiing & Boarding. Sophia's internships at the Museum of Flight and Boeing involved educational program development and engineering process optimization, respectively. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Engineering from the University of British Columbia and participated in an international exchange program at UNSW focused on renewable energy.
