Kate Mooney

Kate Mooney is a legal and business affairs professional with a diverse background in the film and media industry. Currently serving as the Legal & Business Affairs Manager at Quay Street Productions since September 2024, Kate has previously held positions as Legal Counsel at AMP New Zealand and Senior Solicitor at Kindrik Partners. From March 2018 to February 2023, Kate was the Legal & Business Affairs Executive at the New Zealand Film Commission, where expertise in in-house legal counsel was developed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Victoria University of Wellington and Stockholm University, along with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Film and Media from Victoria University of Wellington.
