Travis Buckshaw

Travis Buckshaw is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative research and commodity trading. Currently serving as the Quantitative Research Director at Qube Research & Technologies since October 2023, Travis previously held various roles at Viterra from July 2011 to October 2023, including Manager of Oilseed Research and Derivatives Trader. In this capacity, Travis was responsible for global oilseed research, developing trade strategies through fundamental analysis, managing field office teams, and analyzing global supply and demand trends. Prior roles include Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at UR Investing and Assistant Money Market Trader at Greystone Managed Investments Inc. Travis holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Regina and has also studied at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
