Alison Taylor

Alison Taylor is the current Secretary at Queen Margaret's School. Alison previously worked as the Deputy Head of Development at Glasgow Life from July 2017 to February 2019. In this role, they were responsible for creating and executing fundraising objectives focused on securing new strategic corporate and major donor partners. Alison also supervised four personnel handling an expanding portfolio of events, projects, and standard services.

Prior to their work at Glasgow Life, Alison served as the Interim Manager at The Royal Highland Education Trust from October 2013 to July 2014. In this role, they were responsible for sustaining and growing annual revenue towards the team's annual target of £4M in capital fundraising and £1M in revenues.

Before their work in the non-profit sector, Alison worked as a Rural Leadership Graduate at Scottish Enterprise from January 2013 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for administering a research programme finding prospects through RE database and other sources and producing a plan to reach potential major donors. Alison also developed and managed an ongoing stewardship and engagement programme.

Alison Taylor has a HND in catering management from Westminster Kingsway College. Alison also went to Old Palace School for Girls.
