James Whitaker

James Whitaker has extensive experience in social work and case management, currently serving as a Navigator for the West Vicariate at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis since April 2024. Prior to this role, James worked as a Case Manager at St. Vincent Home for Children, providing support for youth aged 10-19, and as a Community Support Specialist at Adapt Of Missouri, assisting adults with mental health diagnoses. James has a background in youth ministry as the Youth and Young Adult Minister at the Franciscan Renewal Center and has also held positions in retail management and as a Case Manager Intern within senior services. James holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts in Social Work from Paradise Valley Community College.
