Blaise Derenze

Blaise Derenze is an experienced Data Scientist currently serving at the Queens District Attorney's Office since November 2024. Prior to this role, Blaise worked at Campana & Schott from July 2022 to November 2024 in positions of Data Scientist and Data Science Analyst. Blaise began a career in data science at the University of Rochester Medical Center as a Research Assistant, focused on processing data from patient-worn accelerometers for a study on pulmonary arterial hypertension between December 2021 and July 2022. Earlier academic contributions include serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Statistics and Economics departments at the University of Rochester from December 2018 to May 2020. Blaise holds a Bachelor's degree in Data Science and Economics from the University of Rochester, completed in 2022, and a High School Diploma from Long Beach Public Schools.
