Sumit Poddar

Sumit Poddar is an experienced finance professional with expertise in treasury management and banking relations. Currently serving as the Head of Treasury at Quess Corp Limited since January 2022, Sumit previously held the role of Head of Treasury for the South Zone at Godrej Properties Limited from June 2018 to January 2022, managing rupee borrowings, cash management, and compliance with regulations. Prior to that, Sumit was Head of Treasury at BlackBuck, where responsibilities included negotiating significant borrowings and liaising with credit rating agencies. With a solid foundation built from senior treasury roles at Manipal Health Enterprises and Reliance Industries Limited, as well as finance positions at Wipro and Enfield Apparels, Sumit possesses extensive experience in financial oversight, risk management, and regulatory compliance. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Sumit also holds a B.Com degree from St. Xavier's College in Kolkata.
