Borut Lape

Borut Lape has over 17 years of extensive experience in cybersecurity and network administration. As a Cyber Security Officer at Quipu GmbH since April 2018, Borut has focused on monitoring security events, analyzing logs with threat intelligence, configuring SIEM, researching threats, and supporting information security strategies. Prior to this role, Borut served as a Senior Network Administrator at NLB Tutunska Banka for nearly 12 years, managing network infrastructure, performance, and security, and also took on system administration duties. Earlier experience includes serving as a System, Network, and Database Administrator at Smart sistemi, handling installation and maintenance tasks of IT systems. Borut holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Univerzitet 'Sv. Kiril i Metódij' vo Skopje.
