Alison Rand

Alison Rand is an experienced consultant and leader in the fields of Experience Design and Strategic Operations, currently serving as an Independent Consultant since January 2019. As Co-Founder of Forty Fifty, a Femtech venture, Alison focuses on empowering women in mid-life by providing essential information for navigating this phase. Alison is also an author, with a forthcoming book titled "Sentido: Finding Sense and Purpose in Design Leadership" set to be published by The MIT Press in 2025. As a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, Alison contributes to a vision of resilience and regeneration in society. Previous roles include Vice President of Strategic Design and Excellence at SAP, where strategic design practices were established, and Senior Director positions at InVision and Automattic, enhancing design excellence and team efficiency. With a solid background at frog and Hot Studio, Alison has consistently demonstrated the ability to transform business experiences through design-led strategies. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studies at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici.
