James Hakesley

James Hakesley is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in video production and virtual media. Currently serving as CEO and Executive Producer at CUBE Studio, a virtual production studio since March 2023, James is responsible for delivering innovative solutions for advertising and the entertainment industry. As the Co-Founder and CEO of CUBE since December 2015, James has successfully led an insight-driven video and animation production company. Additional roles include Fellow at The RSA, Leadership Fellow at the Society of Leadership Fellows at Windsor Castle, and Growth Champion for Buckinghamshire Business First. Previously, James co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer at Nideo, and held the same title at Fidgit Box, while also working as a freelance photographer since 2008. James Hakesley holds a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Photographic Practice from the University for the Creative Arts and completed the Help to Grow Management Course at Oxford Brookes University.
