Rabigh Arabian Water & Electricity Company (RAWEC) is the special purpose company created to develop, own and operate the Rabigh IWSPP. The project is the utilities provider (power, water and steam) within the Rabigh Complex " PETRORABIGH", the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex being developed by the joint venture of Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical of Japan.

The Operations Team at RAWEC is responsible for the seamless functioning and maintenance of the Rabigh IWSPP facilities, including the desalination plant, power plant, and utilities systems. This team oversees plant operations both on-site and remotely via the control room, ensuring efficient production and distribution of power, water, and steam to the PETRORABIGH complex. Their duties include monitoring equipment, managing operational workflows, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing plant performance to meet regulatory and safety standards.
