Ian Gillespie Am

Ian Gillespie AM serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of RACT Insurance at the Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania since November 2021. Additionally, Ian is Chair of the Motorsport Risk & Safety Committee at Motorsport Australia and a Member of the Board of Trustees at iRAP. Ian holds the position of Director at Racing Together Motorsport, which supports young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in motorsport. Previously, Ian held various roles at RACQ from 2006 to December 2022, including Director of the RACQ Foundation, Director of RACQ Bank, and Director of RACQ Insurance. Ian chaired the Global Mobility Alliance from February 2010 to November 2022 and served as a Director at Neurosensory, BCCM, AMS, and the Australian Automobile Association. Ian's educational background includes a General Management Program from Cranfield School of Management and a Dip Laws from LPAB/LEC, along with prior studies at UNSW and St Aloysius' College.
