Jorge Domínguez Andrés serves as an Assistant Professor and Junior Principal Investigator at Radboudumc since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jorge held the position of Scientific Researcher at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences from October 2017 to August 2021, and completed a PhD candidacy focused on host-pathogen interactions at the National Center for Biotechnology-CSIC in Madrid from January 2013 to June 2017. Notable previous experiences include visiting fellowship at Radboudumc, research fellowships at Universidad de Navarra and Universidad de Salamanca, and a hospital pharmacy internship at Hôpital Nord-Laënnec. Jorge began a career in outdoor activities instruction at Albergue Valle del Ambroz and Spanish Red Cross from 2006 to 2017. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Biosciences, a Master’s in Drug Research, Development and Innovation, and a Master of Pharmacy, all complemented by a stage in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Nantes Université.
