Nico Hoogerwerf M.D.

Nico Hoogerwerf MD PhD is a seasoned Consultant Anaesthesiologist at Radboudumc since June 2008, holding roles as (Roulerend) voorzitter of the Crisis Beleidsteam (CBT) and a HeliMMT physician at Lifeliner 3 Nijmegen. With extensive experience in emergency medical services, Nico served as Medical Coordinator for the Mobile Medical Team (MMT) in Nijmegen and has been an Advanced Hazmat Life Support Instructor since 2008. Previous positions include Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiologist and MICU physician at AMC, where Nico specialized in anesthetic care for both adult and pediatric patients. Nico's academic foundation includes a PhD in Physiology and an MD, both from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and further advanced training in anesthesia in challenging environments from Oxford.
