Pete Mckernan

Pete McKernan joined the Rainbows Board of Directors in 2013. His passion and support for Rainbows’ programs and services grew out of his own personal experience. His daughter contracted Encephalitis shortly after birth which caused some unexpected challenges and required physical, speech and sight therapies during her first four years of life. Fortunately, she recovered and lives a very active life, but this experience provided valuable perspective regarding the importance of early intervention and the accessibility of programs for children and families who need them.
