Ying Zhu

Ying Zhu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and circular economy. Currently serving as the Head of Unit for Compliance & Risk Management at Ramboll since 2023 and as the Director of Circular Economy since 2019, Ying leads initiatives to support industrial clients in obtaining necessary environmental permits while enhancing Ramboll Finland's service offerings. Additionally, Ying contributes as a Board Member at Caidio, a climate tech startup focused on improving concrete construction. Previous roles include Founder of Impaktia Oy, Partner and COO at REACHLaw Ltd, and co-founder of CTT Cancer Targeting Technologies. With a solid educational background including a Ph.D. in Medical Generics and dual Master's degrees in Biochemistry and Economics from the University of Helsinki and Aalto University, Ying Zhu combines scientific expertise with business acumen to drive impactful solutions in various sectors.
