Guy Bonneau

Guy Bonneau is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in system architecture, optimization, and algorithm development. Currently serving as Technical Director of System Architecture at Rambus since May 2022, Guy previously held the position of Principal R&D Optimization and Algorithm at Hardent, where contributions included supporting R&D in video codec and processing algorithms. Prior roles include Principal Software Architect at Grass Valley, responsible for architecting high-performance IP streaming engines, and Software Codec Architect at Matrox, where key achievements involved implementing video compression standards and designing video processing algorithms. Earlier in the career, Guy worked as a Bioengineering Research Assistant at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, supporting international research teams in bioengineering. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Applied Science, Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal.
