Megha Iyer

Megha Iyer is a mathematics research intern at Rampart Communications, where responsibilities include conducting mathematical and scientific research on communication technologies, designing and analyzing algorithms, and collaborating with engineers. Prior experience includes roles as a theater and exhibit assistant at Morehead Planetarium & Science Center, providing audience engagement during planetarium shows, and various undergraduate research assistant positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on audio/visual editing and running examples for research publications. Additionally, Megha has worked as a community educator in astronomy and served as a counselor for the FEMMES organization, promoting STEM to young girls. Early experience includes a project intern position with the Turtle Rescue Team at North Carolina State University, administering treatment to reptiles and assisting in medical procedures. Megha Iyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
