Joseph Oaks

Joseph Oaks is currently employed as a Senior Consulting Engineer at Rancher Government Solutions since May 2023. Prior to this role, Joseph served as a Sales Engineer at SUSE from June 2021 to November 2022, achieving SUSE Certified Administrator status for multiple products and conducting proof of concepts with partners and customers. Joseph also has extensive experience as a Technical Training Engineer at Puppet, Inc. from September 2015 to May 2021, where training materials were developed and delivered. Earlier career highlights include positions as an IT Instructor at Mountainland Applied Technology College, Development IT Manager at Amirsys, Inc., Systems and Network Administrator roles at Thrive Learning, Iron Track Technologies, and Hewlett-Packard, where management of enterprise servers and network implementations were key responsibilities. Joseph holds a degree in Information Systems and Technology from Utah Valley University.
