Karen Shahbazian has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and project management. Karen joined Rapid7 in 2023 as a Lead Security Expert. Prior to that, Karen served as the Head of Research and Cyber Threat Intelligence at the Israel National Cyber Directorate from 2018 to 2023. Karen also worked at the First International Bank of Israel as the Cyber Defense and Information Security Audits Manager from 2014 to 2018. Karen held the role of Project Manager and Senior Security Consultant at SECOZ from 2010 to 2014. Karen briefly worked as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader at Deloitte & Touche in 2010.
