Wendy Cooper

Wendy Cooper currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Rathbones Group Plc, leading the Internal Audit function across 14 offices in the UK and Jersey since December 2022. Prior to this role, Wendy was the Internal Audit Director at SANNE from January 2018 to December 2022, overseeing the Internal Audit function for a global operation covering 22 jurisdictions. Wendy's career also includes significant positions at RSM UK, where internal audit services were provided to financial clients, and as Head of Internal Audit at IG Group, managing a global team across fifteen locations. Earlier experience includes various roles at Lloyds Banking Group and Bank of Scotland, focusing on risk-based internal auditing. Wendy holds multiple qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, including a Qualification in Internal Audit Leadership (QIAL) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), along with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Abertay, Dundee.
