Ahmed T al Khamis

Ahmed T Al Khamis currently serves as the Executive Director of Supervision and Licensing at the Real Estate General Authority since December 2023. Concurrently, Ahmed holds membership in the Board Risk Committee and the Audit Committee at United Cooperative Assurance since August 2021. Previously, from October 2018 to December 2023, Ahmed functioned as the Country Chief Operating Officer at the National Bank of Bahrain, supervising various operational domains including IT, digitalization, and risk management. Ahmed's experience also includes significant roles at SABB Takaful, where responsibilities spanned from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Risk Officer, and involvement in key projects and operational enhancements. Ahmed started the professional journey at SABB as part of the Junior Officers Development Program after earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in 2007.
