Frank Welte

Frank Welte, MD, currently serves as a Radiologist at Real Radiology, LLC since June 2020, and has maintained a parallel career as an award-winning Photographer since June 1997. Prior experience includes roles as a Teleradiologist at vRad from October 2014 to June 2020, and as a Consultant for Semion in June 2017, focusing on clinical input for radiology deep learning applications. Additional radiology experience encompasses positions at Riverbend Medical Group, Holyoke Radiologists, Inc., and Yale New Haven Hospital, where Frank specialized in Neuroradiology and General Radiology. Educational credentials include an MD from UMass Chan Medical School and dual degrees (BA/MA) in Physics and Astronomy from Boston University. Frank also conducted molecular virology research as a HHMI Medical Student Research Fellow at J. David Gladstone Institutes.
