Sami Saarilahti

Sami Saarilahti currently serves as Country Director for Recharge in Denmark, overseeing operations and holding board membership in Recharge Denmark ApS, as well as administrative responsibilities for Recharge Finland Oy. With a strong background in P&L management and new market expansion, Sami consistently exceeded network growth targets during tenure at Recharge. Prior experience includes roles at Fortum as Business Manager for Charge & Drive Finland, where Sami contributed to significant growth in public EV charging infrastructure, and as Head of Sales at Responda 113 Oy, responsible for sales and marketing initiatives. Sami has also held managerial positions at various companies, demonstrating expertise in sales team leadership and business development. Sami holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Vaasa and has studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Shanghai University.
