Victor (Vic) Vines is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in addiction medicine. Currently serving as the Medical Director and Addiction Consultant for the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians, Vines plays a pivotal role in establishing the ObaaShiing Treatment Center and developing its policies and procedures. Previously, Vines held key positions such as Regional Medical Director at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Medical Director at Solutions of North Texas, and Staff Addictionologist at Serenity View - Meadows Behavioral Healthcare. Vines began a medical career after earning a Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center and has extensive experience across various addiction treatment facilities and consulting roles.
