Dasia Moore

Dasia Moore is an accomplished instructor and writer, currently serving as an instructor for the Redbud Writing Project, where courses include topics such as creative writing and navigating difficult themes. Dasia has been recognized as a Flagship Scholar by the Point Foundation, supporting LGBTQ+ students in education, and is a Lillian Vernon Fellow in Poetry at New York University, pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing. Dasia's professional background encompasses roles such as a staff writer for The Boston Globe Magazine, a teaching fellow at Stanford University, and co-founder of Go South, a nonprofit aimed at fostering community engagement in the Southern United States. Additionally, Dasia has held various positions in media and nonprofit sectors, showcasing a commitment to education, social equity, and the arts.
