Jerone Young

Jerone Young is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in Linux systems, architecture, and support. Since August 2011, Jerone has served as a Sr. Architect Consultant at Redhat. Prior roles include Senior Support Engineer/Solutions Architect at StoredIQ, where direct collaboration with legal IT departments on Linux-based eDiscovery appliances took place, and Software Solutions Engineer at Surface Ink, providing software enablement strategies for compute devices. Jerone's skills were honed at Canonical as a Senior Field Application Engineer, facilitating partnerships with major companies and educating vendors on Linux integration. Earlier experience at IBM spans multiple roles, contributing to virtualization projects, security policy developments, and collaborative open-source efforts. Jerone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Science & Business from the University of Florida, completed in 2002.
