Monte Knutson

Monte Knutson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, program management, and product development, currently serving as Principal Engineering Partner Manager and Senior Technical Product Manager at Red Hat since 2015. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Program Manager at Lenovo, where Monte coordinated strategic technical interfaces with Linux OS companies, and various positions at IBM, culminating in Sr. Development Manager, where responsibilities included the development of server appliances and integration with Linux OSs. Early career experience at Novell involved creating strategies and leading product development initiatives, and military service as a Captain in the US Army/National Guard focused on intelligence and logistics. Monte holds a BS in Design Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Global MBA from the University of Phoenix.
