Joanna E. Samuels M.ed.

Joanna E. Samuels M.Ed., CMF, RRP is an experienced Employment Supervisor and Job Coach at Reena since December 2016, focusing on business and community development by building partnerships with over 100 employers and community partners to enhance diversity and inclusion goals. Previously, Joanna worked at JVS Toronto from June 2005 to December 2016, where expertise included developing collaborative partnerships with over 500 businesses and providing recruitment services that aligned with corporate social responsibility targets. Joanna also served as a part-time instructor at George Brown College from September 2012 to September 2016, developing and facilitating curricula for employment counselling focused on clients with mental health disabilities. Earlier career experience includes a sales and marketing role at Athena Smartcard Solutions from March 2000 to March 2005. Education includes a Master of Education from Brock University, alongside degrees in adult education, lifeskills coaching, and a BA in Humanities from the University of Toronto.
