Alek Petuskey

Alek Petuskey is a cofounder at Reflex, with experience in machine learning and software engineering across various esteemed organizations. Alek previously worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Ancestry, focusing on scaling machine learning infrastructure. Additional roles include positions at the University of California, San Francisco in applied machine learning research, NASA Ames Research Center as a software engineer, Dropbox as a software engineer, and Berkeley SETI Research Center as a researcher. Alek also served as an undergraduate student instructor at UC Berkeley's Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences department. Alek completed a program at Y Combinator in Spring 2023 and holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
