Maya Takegami

Maya Takegami is an experienced Human Resources professional with a robust background in HR strategy and delivery across various sectors. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Regal Partners since August 2024, Maya previously held the position of Head of Human Resources for APAC at BTIG, where responsibilities included building the HR function for the region. Prior to that, Maya worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Bendelta on a project basis. A significant portion of Maya's career was spent at Macquarie Group, from January 2008 to November 2022, where roles included People & Culture Director for Commodities & Global Markets and Talent Lead for Capital Markets, overseeing comprehensive HR functions and leadership development initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor and Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Sydney.
