Mia Brakebill is currently a Research Associate at Regel Therapeutics, having joined the company in October 2023. Previously, Mia served as a Laboratory Research Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center from June 2021 to May 2023, where independent research on novel nanoparticle-based technologies for pancreatic cancer resulted in two research papers and a poster presentation. Mia's experience includes an internship at Bristol Myers Squibb focusing on CAR-T clinical trials, a research assistant role at Vanderbilt University's Miller Lab studying neural development, and a foundational internship at Caltech's Bjorkman Lab investigating immune recognition of viral pathogens. Mia began their career with a photography internship at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Mia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biosciences from Rice University, completing the degree in 2023.
