Fred Wellington

Fred Wellington is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy management and consulting. Currently serving as the Program Director and Faculty for the M.S. Energy Systems Management Program at the University of San Francisco and as an Advisor at Amply Energy, Inc., Fred focuses on energy-efficient home technologies. Additionally, Fred works as a Field Guide and Instructor at REI, teaching courses in outdoor skills. Previous roles include Vice President of Energy Practice at NewGen Strategies & Solutions, Managing Director of the Energy Division at Leidos Engineering & Sciences, Associate Director at Navigant Consulting, and Director at the World Resources Institute. Fred's background is supported by an MBA and an M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco, as well as a BBA and a BA in Latin American Studies from Southern Methodist University.
