Ashok Methil Vishwanathan

Ashok Methil Vishwanathan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agribusiness and development. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at BAIF Development Research Foundation and an Advisor at BiofuelCircle since June 2021, Ashok also held the position of Head of the School of Agribusiness Management at MIT World Peace University from August 2019 to June 2021. Prior to these roles, Ashok served as Chief General Manager at NABARD from 1982 until July 2017. Ashok's academic qualifications include a Certificate in Agri Business Management from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Entomology from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
