Vanita Avasthi

Vanita Avasthi is a seasoned Human Resources leader with extensive experience across multiple sectors, primarily in hospitality and aviation. Currently serving as Head of Human Resources at Jio World Center under Reliance Industries Limited since October 2018, Vanita oversees the HR function for this large establishment. Previously, Vanita held various senior HR roles at Jet Airways, including Head of HR for Flight Operations and Corporate Services, where responsibilities encompassed HR services, policy, talent acquisition, and performance management. Other roles include Human Resources Manager at Sofitel, Consultant at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, and Manager - Human Resources at Jet Airways. Early career experience includes positions at Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Rajvilas - Oberois Hotels & Resorts. Vanita holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from the Faculty of Management Studies, completed between 1997 and 1999.
