Mohan S

Born in Chennai in the year 1952. He is a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Madras. He became a Chartered Accountant in the year 1978. He has been a practicing member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since the year 1978. He, along with Mr.Shamji L Patel & Mr. Ramesh M J started the firm Patel Mohan Ramesh & Co in 1982. He has been in charge of the office in Chennai. He also is the co-founder of Relyon Softech Ltd and is currently a member of the board.

Other than being the Director of Relyon Softech Limited, he is the Advisor of United India Insurance Company Limited on FERA / FEMA matters, a member of the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS), a body set by the Ministry of Industry, Japan

Committee Member- Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a member in the Society of Auditors, and Director of Sagacious – a Private Equity Firm.

He is also a member of the Madras Race Club, a Rotarian and a Freemason and member of Lodge Harmony. He participates actively in Blood Donation Camps organized by various bodies. He has also served as a member of the Public Relations Committee of the Southern India Regional Council of ICAI.

He has been an advisor in Taxation matters for companies. He has advised a number of firms and individuals in their tax planning. He has conducted various types of Audits which include Statutory, Internal, Management, Revenue, Concurrent, NPA management and Stock audits of various public and private sector companies, Banks, Insurance companies, and Firms. He has been an advisor in respect of FERA / FEMA matters. He was involved in the Valuation of Shares and disposal of assets of companies.
