Niko Bonatsos

Niko Bonatsos is an experienced venture capitalist with a focus on early-stage investments, currently serving as a principal at General Catalyst since January 2011, where expertise includes pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and Series B funding for tech startups. Niko holds board member positions at several companies, including Remote, Numerade, Medely, Hive, and previously at Sleeper, leading or co-leading investments in various funding rounds. Prior experience includes working as an R&D Engineer at Yokogawa Electric Corporation. Niko's educational background features a Master's degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, an M.Phil. in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management from the University of Cambridge, and a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
